Frequently Asked Questions

Answers to the questions we hear most often from sellers preparing to book a photography session.

FAQ categories and questions

Sessions start from a minimum of fifteen items. This minimum applies to each session, not to individual shooting styles. If you have fewer than fifteen items, we would recommend waiting until you have enough to justify a full session, as this produces a better per-item result and covers the studio preparation time involved.
Contact us via the enquiry form on the Contact page, by email at info@madamenumerique.com or by phone at +20 120 006 5447. Describe the products you need photographed, the platforms you sell on, and roughly how many items are in the batch. We will confirm availability and discuss details from there.
We recommend contacting us at least three to five working days before you need the session to take place. For same-day editing requests, earlier notice helps us plan the day's schedule accordingly. During busy periods, lead times may be longer — contact us to check current availability.
Products should arrive clean, dust-free and in the condition you want them photographed. For packaged goods, the packaging should be intact and undamaged. For apparel or soft goods, items should be ironed or steamed. For electronics, batteries should be installed where screens or indicators need to be shown active. We carry out minor on-set cleaning but significant preparation adds to session time.
Products can be dropped off at our studio at 20 ش طارق عابدين متفرع من ش، الفريد, Abdin, Cairo. You are also welcome to arrange courier delivery directly to the studio address. We will confirm safe receipt of all items when they arrive. Products are returned to you after the session or held for collection — whichever you prefer.
We photograph a wide range of product categories including cosmetics and skincare, fashion accessories, homeware, electronics, food packaging, supplements, books, toys and furniture. Products with unusual size requirements — very large items or very small items requiring macro — should be discussed in advance so we can plan the correct setup.
Standard delivery is within two working days of the shoot completing. Same-day editing is available for sessions completing before noon — files are delivered the same evening. For 360-degree spin sequences, the minimum turnaround is one working day due to the volume of individual frames requiring retouching.
Standard delivery is high-quality JPEG in sRGB colour space. If you need additional formats — such as PNG with transparent background for certain design uses — please mention this when booking. Files are delivered via a shared Google Drive or WeTransfer link, organised by product with clear naming.
Minor retouching revisions are accepted within five working days of delivery. This covers adjustments such as shadow correction, minor colour tweaks or background purity issues. Requests that involve reshooting or significant re-editing outside the original brief are treated as new work and discussed separately.
Yes. Amazon.eg main listing images require a pure white background (RGB 255,255,255), the product to occupy at least 85% of the image frame, and a minimum of 1000 pixels on the longest side. We photograph and process images to these specifications. We also export at the correct file size and in the required JPEG format. If Amazon updates its requirements, please let us know so we can adjust accordingly.
Both Jumia and Noon have their own image guidelines covering background colour, aspect ratio, minimum resolution and file size. We are familiar with the current requirements for both platforms and produce images accordingly. If you sell on multiple platforms, we can deliver separate file sets sized for each one.
No. Madame Numerique is a product photography studio. We photograph products and deliver image files. We do not set up or manage seller accounts, create or run advertising campaigns, write product listings or handle any aspect of store operations. If you need those services, we would suggest looking for an e-commerce management agency separately.
No. We deliver image files to you digitally. Uploading to your marketplace seller account is your responsibility. We make this as easy as possible by organising files clearly and labelling them by product, but the upload step is yours.
We do not currently offer video production. Our services cover still photography and 360-degree image sequences. The 360 sequences can be delivered as animated GIFs, which display as looping images on some platforms, but they are not video files.
